Rise of Raptors post Lebron Era

8 final appearances in a row is no normal feat and Lebron rolled over everyone to make it to NBA finals everytime but for past couple of years it was the Toronto Raptors on the receiving end. Even after being amongst the top seeds, Raptors were found looking for answers against Lebron led side.
It always looked like the playoffs brought out the high school version of the Raptors and they kept losing hard to the Lebron in particular.

Then happened the unusual unrest in the Spurs organization :(
Kawhi Leonard did not suit up for games and was missing from court ,not cheering the team, during the playoffs against the Warriors (screw Zaza Pachulia for injurying him intentionally in previous playoff meeting).

Then 2018 offseason happened and Lebron decided to take his talents to hollywood ! LA Lakers now had him while Kawhi was traded to Toronto Raptors (along with Danny Green) for Demar Derozan.
Suddenly the Raptors became favourites to win the Eastern Conference because the defensive starting combination of Kawhi, Green, Ibaka & Lowry is as scary as you can imagine it to be. Not just on paper but the effect was evident on court with them outscoring opponents pretty hard. Raptors are leading the league right now record wise and if no injuries happens to them , they are good enough to beat anyone in 7 game series to reach the NBA finals.

Hey Eastern Conference , move over Lebron James coz Raptors are emerging from everyone's shadow.

Cousins to Warriors is perfect ingredient to kill NBA next season

When the Golden State Warriors steamrolled over the Cleveland Cavs by making a 4-0 sweep , nobody thought they needed to make any major move in the upcoming offseason but something crazy happened and we're all shocked to the core. Apparently, the Golden State Warriors weren't already good enough and they needed to add some more starpower to the already lethal composition. When Lebron joined the Lakers with Rondo,McGee and Stephenson , Warriors couldn't digest the limelight shifting to another western conference franchise so they chose to do the unthinkable and soon after last seasons victory they emerged victorious against Lebron once more. The Warriors signed Cousins for $5.3 million (1 year) using the mid level exception similar to how Lakers used it for signing Lance Stephenson. Now the warriors' starting 5 has an All Star at every position (as if already having 4 All Stars wasn't already crazy). PG- Curry (26.4 ppg / 5.1 rpg / 6.1 apg) SG- Klay (20 p...
